Epic tuning?

I would like to get my car chipped and want to know if anyone has used jfonz/epic tuning on a 2.0t.

If you googled for J-fonz/ETG you will find mixed reviews, some guys saying that their tunes are great, others saying how unprofessional and irresponsible the guy is, a few guys who claim to have blown engines. Overall they are not a trusted source for tuning, they seem to be a cheap alternative to a real tune. That said, the majority of the cars that I've come across on the internet that are ETG tuned/jfonz seem to provide "impressive" dyno information, claiming big numbers, and yet they can never seem to back up those numbers with true real world data. Meaning they are probably fudging some dynos, but its apparent that when you run stock or worse than stock times on a fully built stage 3 car that your tune is crap.

VCE123200 is right on the money, I would get a JHM tune in a heartbeat, they look to be the new up and comer in the 2.0t world, and they have shown that their tuning can do miracles for the 4.2 s4 and rs4.

I would be a little Leary with etg, recently vagged a 2.7t car and the fuel adaption at idle and part throttle was almost +25 (which is the max on an me7 ECu)

2.0t tune I would highly recommend the guys over at dotuning. I've had nothing but awesome results so far. Just got a revision on another b7 with a pt5858 on it and the car pulls like a freight train once in boost and part throttle is good also.

I got my big turbo F23 done in January & still waiting for a final tune today.. lol
had a lot of revisions.

but i did hear that there tunes that are already made are good.

I rode in a stage 3 J-fonz/ETG allroad last night......WOW....wow is all I can say, I have never seen a car run so poorly. For those of you who don't know a stage 3 allroad with k04's, iits quite speedy, probably 400-450awhp, it boogies. This car just non-stop misfired.....apparently its been like this for 3 months....in addition to not being to flash the original file, apparently this car is still just not running.2-3k RPM if you go partial throttle it was ok, but as soon as you went 3-5k rpm's the car would stutter. It probably took 15-20seconds to get to 60mph....maybe more, probably more lets say 30 seconds....

This was of course on a "base file", I was complaining about eurodyne's base files, well I retract that, after seeing ETG's "base file" run, Eurodyne runs like a champ, I would never ever ever run my car on an ETG basefile.....I'm really blown away that that level of "tuning" is acceptable.
