2011 S4 wheels

Seems that my wheels got destroyed by something this winter. I used Sonax on them the other day to get them fully cleaned up and there are permanent water marks on the wheels. Almost white in color like salt water and they are in lines (like flowing water marks) on 3 of 4 of my wheels. The strange thing is they feel smooth to the touch. They feel like the marks are under the clearcoat or stains. And like white-ish powder

Anything I can do outside of refinishing these wheels?

sure thing you can try to hand polish the spots out it should work, let me know how it goes.
