Hi guys/girls,
I am quite new to this forum and looking to put 18" Porsche Twist on my B7 A4 Quattro.
I have been looking for info on this topic considering it is a "staggered" fitment from forum to forum with no success. If any of you can kindly help a lad, it would be greatly appreciated.
So to begin here is the specs of the wheels:
18X8 et50
18X11 et45

What tire dimensions would I need for them to fit without messing with the awd system?

I am aware I need 5X130 to 5X112 adapters for Bolt fitment.

Thank you so much in advance.

All I can say is that I've seen it done on several B7's but I have no personal experience

And that you're about to get flamed for calling them "Rims"

JK use this tire size calculator to find out all that stuff you asked about

With a 3 inch difference between the wheels, i really dont think its possible to run that crazy of a staggered fitment.

Leave the Twists to the EMKAYFOR kids, I think they are crappy wheels just toted around becuase OH EMM GEEE IT'S A PORSCHE WHEEL!

Honestly it's a ton of work with tires and adapters to get it right, and 8" front 11" rear is prob gonna look retarded unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing with fitment and planning... and since you need to ask about tire sizing well, seems like this should be an abandoned project.

Even if you do manage to mount them up you will hate the way it corners and your will get terrible wear on your tires and probably quickly wear out your suspension. But on another note a guy is running lambo wheels but I don't think they have as much of a staggered difference. Either way you are better off not running that much difference in tire width.

I think people run 2 sets of the front wheels when running the Porsche twists to negate the staggered problems, I was looking at a set the other day for sale and passed on them though for the exact reasons already stated above.

If you were to do it, 235/40/18 in the front and 265/35/18 in the back woudl give you the same rolling diameters, etc. But i dont think you'd be able to fit the 265s in our wheel arches. And I wouldnt go much smaller in the front.

You could also try 225/40/18 in the front and 255/35/18 in the back. Fitment in the back might be more realistic.

In either set up, stretch in the back would be excessive. For example, quick search on tirerack says the recommended rim width on a 265/35/18 is 9-10.5 inches.

Trade the two 11" Twists for 8".

Edited thread on the RIMZZZ hahaha . No room for error over here .
Thank you all for the help... I believe I will take another route for the 11'' twists in the rear, as I'am not so experienced in this staggered domaine.
As for wheel ''poke'' with 11'' rears, I think it will be a little much as stated.

Hmmmm. I honestly hadn't considered that [:p]

I actually don't mind the wheels. I just think it would look better with the fronts on all 4 corners

Was about to say four fronts would suit the car well. Great minds think alike. Especially a Dolphin Grey A4 with those colored wheels.

Yeah I wonder what that person is running (tires) and if it is awd or not??
"Pokes" not terrible. My intentions were to make it look wide from the rear, that was where and what I was going for.
My A4 B7 is Black.
Getting the wheels for 400$ and they are mint!! That's why I m so interested in this wheel package, but seems too complicated.

honestly look man, it CAN be done.

running the tire size calc you can certainly find sidewalls that will agree with a 8'' and 11'' staggered setup, given the picture above tho, I must advise against this. It looks fucking awful. not just awful, but that picture is hurting my eyes.

The twists are a great wheel, but in my opinion, which is not shared by others, i think those wheels suit coupes, and not sedans, and looks out of place on our cars.

You scored them for cheap, flip them for a better set, or if your heart is really set on the wheels, swap 11's with 8's and call it a day.

to make it work well, you will prolly need a 15mm spacer on the 8's to put the offset at 30.

given your username, I am guessing all my advice is going to be tossed out the window, but cheers anyways
