I have a 05 A4 2.0T that has a manufacture date of 12/04. I had a dealer replace the PCV under recall. After new part was put on ( 06F 129 101 "P" ) my car has taken a shi*. I found out that what should have been put on is part 06F 129 101 "N". I called him yesterday to have him order "N" version for me at MY cost because " they dont believe this is cause of my cars poor running condition". Then he proceeds to tell me the "N" version has been replaced by an "updated part"... ( "P" ). Does anyone have any idea if this is correct information and will work properly with my A4?

What do you mean by your car has taken a shit? Throw any codes? How do you know for sure that it is the PCV? How many miles on the car? Europa has that as the latest revision available.

While accelerating it will start making a weird ticking noise then starts blowing smoke ( sometimes white, sometimes black ). 5 qts of oil in a little over 2 weeks.... Didn't have this problem until immidetly leaving the dealership. No codes, 100k miles. I do not know for sure the valve is the whole cause the problem. I did graduate high school though and like I said, it didn't do it till after I left there. The "P " revision is for B7s with a manufacturer date 12/17/05 and newer. Mine was built 12/04. Getting new part tonight "06F 129 101 R " .He says I only need the valve and not a different inlet pipe.. lets hope at least this is accurate!! Getting new part tonight. Will update tomorrow.
