I've been slowly building up the parts for installing the Trip Computer into my 2006. So I already coded module 16 but I'm trying to figure out the adaption for module 17. I've been trying to fully understand what adaption to run it on. The original number I pulled was 30100, I was reading on another thread that the number that should be used is 31300. I was able to access of the functions of the trip computer but it caused me to throw bulb out warnings. I've tried searching thru the forums but I can't find one go to number to get it to work properly in my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Nick

EDIT: Most of my information was pulled from this thread http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/310367-Trip-Computer-Retrofit/page1, alot of great info just trying to track the correct adaption and installed the washer level sensor tomorrow.

Do you have bulbs out or LEDs...? Activating the trip computer also activates this warning function.

I did retrofit HID's into my car from The Retrofit Source. I did purchase the the canbus harness which is suppose to eliminate this issue. I was hoping there might be away around it or maybe I had used the wrong adaption number. I had just assumed that the bulb out warning was always there with my car. Didn't know that the trip computer activates this function. From the sounds of it now, I did end up doing everything correctly. I would just have to troubleshoot with The Retrofit Source now.

Also, take some pictures of how you route the wiring for the sensor... I have to do mine soon too.

Maybe it's the fact that I use a program called VAS PC, but none of that makes sense to me at all. I've came across that coding multiple times and I just can't seem to comprehend how you get to 31300. But it looks like you have both confirmed my fears that I'm going to need to figure out how to deal with these bulb out warnings.

put in stock bulbs and headlights, see if it fixes the issue.

I'd like to do this too. Memory seats are a bigger priority, but not as easily obtained!
