Things have been pretty busy here the last few weeks, so I think its time to hire an additional employee to help us with some of the easier tasks around the shop. We're just looking for someone to do maybe 20-25 hours a week at first and if everything works out well for the both parties, then I have no problem increasing those hours or making it a full time position.

A little bit about what we're looking for:

Most of the work will be boring trimming and sanding. Both block sanding and wetsanding. While I'd prefer someone with a little bit of experience in this area, its all pretty straight forward and can be learned fairly quickly. I know that sanding can be tedious and boring, so I have no problems if you listen to music while you work. Other easy tasks such as keeping the shop clean and organized, helping out with clearcoat, and things of this nature.

If you can handle the trimming and sanding and are decent at it, we'll start training you on other aspects of carbon fiber fabrication and we can do a set together for your own car on my dime. However, one of my biggest concerns with hiring someone is that we'll spend a lot of time and money on training someone, and they'll bail on me after I teach them everything. So be prepared to gut it out with sanding for a while. If you stick around long enough and work hard, we'll teach you everything, from simple overlays, plug and mold making, all the way to advanced vacuum bagging and infusion.

Hours are pretty flexible. This position would be perfect for a student. Generally there is someone at the shop from 10am almost every day and most of the time late into the evening. Weekends are also an option. Chances are we can figure out a schedule that works for you.

Compensation will depend mostly on experience.

If all this sounds good to you, send me an email to [email protected] with the following info and we'll schedule a time for you to come check out the shop:

Name
Phone number
Location
Vehicle and mods (if any)
Pertinent experience/qualifications (if any)
Start date
Schedule/availability - list days and hours
Desired hourly pay
Brief paragraph on why you'd be a good fit for this job
Any other information you can think of that would be helpful

Feel free to ask any questions here or via PM/email. Email is the best way to get ahold of me though.
