Ok so it's this coming weekend and all small mods...

VDO boost gauge
E-bay short shifter(Let's hope it's not a pos)
Clear corners
Clear sides
710N

I'll have pics up tonight of the pieces.....

*edit*
Here's a pic of everything...I'll only post one pic of all the items together so I don't piss off the 56k'ers:

It should be fun, it's been a while since I've done any modding on a car...shouldn't take me too long![wrench]

Thanks for the encouragement guys...

Somehow, the SS has a 52 step install process. I haven't read it all but I'm sure I'll end up at pep boys buying thread lock or something like that....

It is real easy to do the SS it is just a lot of steps. If ya run into a snag hit me up. I did my own twice and a few other cars too.

Will do....Like I said, it's IDENTICAL to the Actual B&M piece except that it didn't come w/ a shift knob. People have told me it's a piece of crap but it's all the same CNC work made from the same material. I think in this case the e-gay version might be just as good as the real piece.

When doing the SS, be careful not do drop any screws/nuts/bolts down there! Use masking tape on them if needed, it worked for me.

Great tip!!! the masking tape saved me more than a few times!!!

Well, I finished the SS tonight, what a PITA. First off my ebay SS was a total piece of crap. The main shifter was decent but the fit of all the other parts and the overall quality was junk. The reverse pin that was supposed to be "pressed into the shaft" didn't fit. I had to grind that sucker down to get it to fit snug. Second, the instructions were a poor quality photocopy from B&M's instructions. Luckily I checked B&M's website and the had their instructions posted. It's funny, the knock off instructions were identical, minus anything referring to B&M. Also, since I have a 98.5 A4, I had the smaller opening in the shifter console so it was super hard to reconnect the support rod and selector rod.

Overall a it was a 3 in terms of difficulty (scale of 1-5).

I haven't drive it yet, but the test shifts felt much smoother, shorter and more positive. I guess for $60 not a bad mod. I'll get pics soon. Now for the Boost gauge and 710N.

hey bud, just do a search on ebay for "Audi A4 Clear" and both the corners and sides will come up. The sides were like $20 and the corners like $22. Plus shipping of course.

BTW- is it ghetto that I left my orange bulbs in the corners? I figure I'll stay legal that way.

you got lucky, when i was still 2piece, i was looking for clear corners, and got the Euro ones... cuz i thought they looked nicer.. but when they went on, they didnt match at all, so they cost more, and didnt look as good as the ones you got...

phew, actually I saw the euro clear ones and wanted them for the same reason but they just didn't look like they would match plus they were like $10 more.
