Hey guy I wanted to pick everyone's brain, I should have my car back from getting caged here in the next week or so and I'm having a difficult time figuring out which aftermarket seats to get. If I don't do a fixed back seat I'll do the Recaro Sportster CS's, but I think I want to do a fixed back seat instead. Two thing to keep in mind are that I will have my interior rework regardless of how them come of so I'm not concerned about that material that comes on the seats. The second thing is I'm a 5'11 former football player/ wrestler so I have very big thighs and a big ass lol so I can't fit well in to really narrow seats. I'd love to hear anyone's experience with aftermarkets seats regardless of it was in a B8 or not. Thanks!

I've had racing buckets in prior cars I've owned, and I'd say you should definitely find a way to try them out first. It's amazing how even similar designed buckets can still feel extremely different from brand-to-brand.

You should try to find a race shop near you that has various seats in stock for you to try out. If you have any plans to come out to Los Angeles anytime soon, this shop has numerous seats in their showroom for you to try:
