How is my awd moving without power as if in neutral?

Is there any way possible that my awd a8 can be set in neutral? I receive my car from the tow truck and without putting any power to the car or putting the car in neutral the car is able to be pushed freely all wheels as if the car is in neutral. How is that possible? Did the tow truck shift the cable on the tranny or put some setting on the car? Since its awd and the shifter is in park the car is not supposed to move right?

The car has no power on the battery so it doesnt start and shifter is in park and not moveable... Please help

prob to late but there is an emergency release switch to put it in neutral I believe it's in your manual.

D4 there is towing model which you have to choose for tow truck from MMI system which is under car setting.
