I am in with my rust-bucket B7! Temps haven't been right for me to do my paint touch-up, but it isn't stopping me! May have a buddy tag a long, but that's up in the air till mid-week.

Pre-emptive notice that I have the following parts from my B7:
* Tein S-tech lowering springs (~20K miles)
* Supremely used non-s oem struts (~it's entire life... / will only bring upon request!)
* Driver-side black door card
* OEM non-bose speakers (front driver and passenger)
* Silver passenger side mirror assembly (motor and cap / no mirror plate / for autodim, heated, and folding)
* OEM Symphony II
* OEM Halogen Headlights Driver-side (almost perfect) and Passenger-side (extensive damage from previous owner; broken lens and tab)

Both tie rods and rear sway bar links were bad. add an alignment and labor, $720 later my car is good to go. Putting on summer wheels saturday...

It needs a high pressure steering hose before it's really daily drivable. I have one in the mail now and it should be here in time to have it swapped out and make this trip. I'll probably go anyways, worst case is I throw a few liters of Pentosin in the trunk.

EDIT: Steering hose will be in on Friday. Assuming nothing breaks during the swap I'll be there.

Car started misfiring BAD friday. Found a spark plug all fouled up i think from the carbon cleaning. Has run solid so far. Hopefully it stays that way. Cup kit installed earlier today...the bimmer is ready to stand out from the rest of you [:D]

We did a good job repersenting the R8's :). Was a fun time and good meeting some new people. And of course as soon as I pulled into my driveway the sun came out. We will have to start planning our next one soon, I'm thinking something different like heading west to the Mohawk Trail and maybe driving up Mount Greylock? Did that last fall with some friends and was a good time

this was my very first Gtg/cruise and i had an awesome time, it was well organized, everyone was friendly i felt very welcome, im sorry i couldn't introduce myself to everyone yesterday i was too excited seeing all the Quattro's in on area Lol, i cant wait for the Next Gtg, thanks Eric for organizing, and thank you Scott for leading the pack i thought that looked awesome.

Got to the mall just as everyone was lining up for the cruise to lunch. Joined in on the cruise, said a few hellos once we got there, then bounced.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer but wasn't planning on going to the lunch spot at all. Late start made me miss the mall meet so I had to join in for something. Seemed like a good crew for who I talked to and quite the range of cars, seeing the older 100 made me really miss my old '93 100.

Will definitely be planning on making the next one and stick around for the whole time. You guys should think about heading up north to VT for the Wofsgart show this summer. Was a good time last year and definitely need some more audis to balance out all the VW's.

Also kind of a haul going all the way up to Burlington from where I am - I drove once up to Montpelier for something, and kept thinking 'Holy crap, am I there yet?', and Burlington's even further beyond that. Though I'm sure it was a haul for you to come down to us on Sunday [:d]

But if we can get a group of Audiziners together to go up, I'd give it some strong consideration.

Didn't even know the website was updated yet. The show has only been around for a few years so it's still growing. Last year was my first time and it was a blast. They had some great cruises lined up, lots of choices for mountain switchbacks around here. Definitely understand about the long drive, I'm pretty used to it as it's a good drive to get anywhere around here. Burlington is only another 30 mins from Montpelier so you were close[:D]. As far as highways go 89 is a great one, especially once you get north of Montpelier and get into the mountains a little more. Not to mention if you plan it right you can take backroads the whole way once in VT.

Hate to say it but the meet on Sunday wasn't the main reason I was down in the area last weekend. Went to visit some friends in Boston and happened to be the same weekend, I'd definitely make the trip again though for a summer cruise.

I think I am in the minority, but I actually like the chrome on the s/s-line grilles. Swapped out the one on my q5 when the opportunity presented itself and like it much better.

I've never really been in love with any interior colors other than black...or gray at a stretch. But when I started looking at S5's and saw the Meteor Gray with Magma Red and the Deep Sea Blue with Tuscan brown.....I started to fall in love. The more I looked the more I fell in love. Seeing it in person and driving around in it, I definitely made a great choice!! So many compliments already...
