Hello fellow enthusiasts. This thread will serve as a voting poll on where we should meet up. The options will include the following four metro areas:

1. Austin
2. San Antonio
3. Houston
4. Dallas

I'll leave this poll open for a while to gain traction as well as allow us to come up with a suitable date. First things first though so lets pick a place. Once this is nailed down, the results will be noted in the "Official Texas Audi Owners Meet Thread".

I think the issue is you can't actually see the poll in Tapatalk. You have to go to the URL and vote that way.

Yeah its funny I was talking about these meets with my homeboy (an SA native) last night. He told me that back in the day they used to have helicopters in addition to patrol units disperse the crowd when it got bad. You ever make it out to the Texaco @ 151 on Saturday nights?

I don't go to any "meets". As I stated in another thread, I stopped doing that stuff a couple years ago. Combination of got too old, general distaste for the types that show up, don't wanna stand in a parking lot looking at mostly shit, you name it...

Doesn't TAG still have their annual weekend meet/show/track day? I attended one a couple of years ago and it had a nice turn out.

Yes, their events are always a blast! If I'm not mistaken this year's is in Sep.

Audi Club Lone Star is organizing the meet this year, in addition to tons of other events throughout the year. The Audi Club North America national event is actually going to be in Austin late September. There are some posts in the ACLS forums and website talking about the national event.

That's a great question. What dates will work best for everyone? I assume the majority of peeps would want this to land on a Saturday and would need at least a month lead time. I can start a Poll for the exact date as well once the location is nailed down. It has almost been a month that this thread was opened. So far we have had a pretty good turnout based on the number of voters. ACNA is having their national meet in Austin in Sept. If Austin was the leading venue I would've suggested to just join forces. What are everyone's thoughts?

A months lead is pretty good, I think you should start a thread on it. I guess maybe this weekend we will see how the pole ends and set the location. Unless somebody else wants to chime in
