Where are all the Texas Audizine members? Specifically North Texas. Does everyone in Texas just not drive Audis?

Ahh! No we exist! But in Abilene in my case which means I'm the only one. You can always check out http://www.texasaudigroup.com although that's pretty dead too but more regionalized to Texas.

Yea I noticed south texas is more lively than north texas. I checked out the Texasaudigroup and it's pretty much dead too. For example, the last post in the north texas subsection was feb 11th. Ah well, I guess it will never be as lively as the SoCal sub forum.

I have had too many bad experiences with "car clubs" and "groups", so I stay the fuck out...but I am here in South Texas.

it dosent need to be a "car club" or "groups" it can just be a meet up at a Starbucks! would be nice to see some cars.. and meet some people and see someother mods.. What do you guys think?

Well I totally agree, but like I said I'm in the middle-of-nowhere Abilene haha so I can't see it being a spontaneous thing for me.
We are definitely "here" just gotta keep at it I guess until we come out of the woodworks. I'd love to hit up something like Race Wars 2014, but just can't justify making the trip all the way out there from Tx. Lets get something going for the dirt south [:D]

Maybe it’s with the wrong crowd....ijs.
We get together at each C&C on the 2nd Saturday of the month at the Rim from 8a-10a. More events will be happening around our area like Happy Hour on this Monday at the Flying Saucer on Huebner Rd from 6:30p to 8:30p and our Go-Karting event in the planning. Also, come out to Cavender Audi on April 2nd from 6p-9p for the new A3 kickoff event... free food, beer, wine, etc.

You are right, it doesn’t need to be those groups, but times have changed and IMHO the local Audi group here is the more sophisticated enthusiasts than some others.

Exactly! There are so many Audis around here that don't know about the local group and I know they are enthusiasts by the cosmetic changes made. I'm just spreading the word that we are out here to have a great time and enjoy being a part of the Audi family.

I've been around here doing this thing for the last decade. You name the crowd, I've seen it and been a part of it. You just reach a certain point...
If I wanna see a bunch of Dodge Chargers, I'll go to the Dodge dealership...[:D]

Well, its not his anymore. A local group member purchased it from him a few months back. He still has his B7 A4 Avant though.

Heard he was gonna sell it about a month back, just haven't been updated (until now) on whether he managed to do so.[;)][up]

Yes. He's had it forever. He gave it to his, then (and maybe still current?), GF to drive when he got the TT-RS. That car is VERY well taken care of and VERY tastefully modified.

GF now wife...happened a few months back too... around the same time when he first put up the TTRS for sale. Coincidence!?!? [>_<] They are great people and yes, the avant still looks stellar 6 years old.

That forum is also pretty dead. Mostly just the spotting thread is active. Sigh [:(]
