Does the D2 S8 engine have forged rods/pistons?

I've read some posts where it mentions that the D2 S8 has forged rods...are the pistons forged as well?
And do 1.8t/2.7t valves work in the D2 S8's heads, or are upgraded valvetrane available?

Thinking about forced induction options and mating it up to a 6spd.
