So this is what my front rotors look like:

I haven't taken everything part yet but I'm guessing I'll need at least new pads, maybe rotors also. I was looking at doing the A8/ TT brake upgrade since they will fit under my 16" sport rims. I want to know if it is worth the upgrade or it's not very much of an improvement over stock?

There is a guy on CL near me selling 17z for $350 but I would need S4 uprights, rotors, pads, lines and a set of 17" rims and tires for the winter, which is a little more than I want to spend. Are there any other BBK that would fit under the 16"rims? Also if I do stay with the stock calipers what are suggestions for pads? I'm thinking EBC REDstuff.

Thanks,

The best upgrade for your money is a8/tt with red stuff pads. Its actually a pretty noticeable improvement over stock, anything more than that kit and you'll be spending twice as much money.

You will also need 2.8 axles or the s4 axles if you're upgrading with s4 uprights.

Imho not much of an improvement over stock. It still faded just as quick as stock. Pads are hawk hps.

But in the price range, can't think of anything better.
