My chain on bank 1 is starting to make noise. Does that mean my cam chain tensioner is going? Also could that have anything to do with my misfires on cylinders 1, 2, and 3 ?

Could. I would take the valve cover off and inspect it. The plastic foot is probably compromised (ie cracked).

So you think it could cause the misfire?

If the CCT spits out a "foot" (ie: the plastic guide cracks in half and falls off) it can actually allow the chain to jump. 1 jumped chain tooth, plus the excess slack allowed by the broken foot is enough to bend valves.

We had a customer with a 30v that did this. Bent 1 intake valve, but the valve actually busted off the top edge of the piston. Kind of like this:

Customer was decidedly not interested if dealing with a bottom end repair, so we just put a valve in it (and a new CCT) and it worked okay.
