How many gallons do I need to refill my car after I bleed my hoses?

two 1.5l bottles should be enough since you gatt a 50/50 mix with distilled water. so you got 3 to 3.5l of coolant but if you replaced radiator you probably need more.

I always buy Hepu coolant in their massive 5L jugs, use about 2/3 to fill and the rest to top up when (not if) it springs a leak down the road.

Coolant capacities:

AEB = 7.5L
ATW/AWM = 7L
AFC = 8.5L
AHA/ATQ = 6L

Isn't the g13 the updated one? That is one beautiful looking coolant. If it was a hot summer day and I saw that i'd probably try to drink it.

By virtue of greater number, yes. But it you could use any coolant you choose. Really, ANY coolant. The thing is you cant mix them. And some coolants are kind of bad for the engine. So really, just stick with g12/13.

G12 and G13 can be mixed though, they're cross compatible. I've got half G12 half G13 in my car now. [>_>]

I picked up a 2 gallon gas container and just use that. Fill it 50/50 with a gallon from the VW dealership (cheaper) and distilled water. Fill as needed and have spare to keep around. Used up all my spare, so I currently have like a full 2 gallons of 50/50 in my garage. Got smart, put some back into the VW gallon G12 jug, and keep that in my trunk now along with Rotella T6.
