Hey folks,

My A4, as some of you have read, is having issues in the drivetrain/suspension that creates a noticeable vibration in the chair at 60-80.

ANYWAYS, I found a care that has transmission problems that I want to use as a parts car.

Here's the link:

Is the $600 he's asking a good price? It seems a bit high to me since it's got trans problems. My plan is to use the passenger door off of it (mine has rust) and replace the rear bumper. I'm going to be swapping over the prop shaft and diff + axles. (if they're all good)

What do you guys think? Worth it? I'm going to go and check it out within two weeks.

Thanks

If that is the case then it would be an exact parts car for everything mechanical and all of the drive train will swap over as far as I know. To me $600 doesn't sound bad, those cars are going for $3,500 - $6,000 where I live so if the rest of it is decent other than the transmission it seems like a good deal. You may be able to sell parts you don't need to make up for the initial cost as well.

Alright, thanks Corrado_Guy. I'll scrape something together for it. Then drive it home on my current plates since it's basically the same model
