In an effort to keep costs down, would I be able to use the shock set from a FWD A4 on a Quattro A4?

Done some searching and I can't find a definitive answer. I know you can't use the springs, but I'm curious about the shocks.

If I remember correctly, and I do, fronts are exactly the same, rears are way different. If FWD and Quattro were the same, companies wouldn't specify which drivetrain they are for

According to ETKA the fronts are the same (8D0 413 031 B#) # changes depending on suspension setup.

Yep. Fronts are same. Rears are *way* different.

I have a pair of Quattro rear struts and stock non-sport springs I can sell you if you're interested :) They were in good shape when removed (107k miles, went with coilovers).
