View Full Version : Feeler: For Trade: My B7 Xenon Headlights with Fly's V4 LEDs for YOUR B7 Xenon Headlights

Straight up!

Being almost 30 and trying to go for a truer B7 look, I'm growing out of the LED look on my B7 bi-xenon headlights and am looking to swap them with someone who has plain bi-xenons (preferably clear cornered). My headlights are currently clear cornered and I do not have any condensation issues. No fault codes or bulb out warnings. Below is a pic of them in action and when off. The pictures with them ON are off to the side because FLY's LEDs strips are such good quality and bright that taking a photo head on would be pointless (over exposure).

EDIT: My lights are adaptive, so yours would need to be also.

Would you be willing to ship?

I love the LEDs but I think they look outdated now that everyone went to the solid LED strips.

Regardless this is a great deal for someone!

As a last resort, I suppose I could ship. I can't really afford to be without my car for too long though so if you'd agree to ship your lights first, I'd consider it. Otherwise, I think i'd hold out for someone local.

If you think you can go two weeks without headlights (i.e. ground ship to me and ground ship back to you), feel free to PM me. BTW, UPS ground ship is like $80 to WA. I'd be willing to cover my leg of the shipping.

$80? I can ship a large 20lb package for $30. Shouldn't be close to that much.

Be careful. I shipped my lights to Phil and they were nearly destroyed during shipping.

Plan for ~$60 to ship each way via Fed Ex.

If only OP was local to me. Bummer. If you do ship them, use foam peanuts so the headlights are suspended and make sure its a large enough box. Also, use foam or cardboard under the clips. Clean well and cover each housing generously with plastic wrap. The clingy stuff you use in the kitchen works well. Keeps them from getting marred from the vibration when shipping. I've shipped several headlights UPS and had no issues, but insurance is always a good idea.

Its an enticing idea! I have a set of halogens i could run while i wait im more worried about the headlights get back and fourth in one piece.

Great advice thank you. It would be IMPERATIVE that both parties take these precautions.
