came across these replacement clips, has anyone used them? i have the beige interior so the whole armrest is more expensive than the standard black replacement. just curious to what everyone thinks?

I think I'm gonna have to order one. I have tan interior also but I'll use some SEM (http://www.semproducts.com/product-catalog/flexible-coatings/color-coat/) coating on it.
I just ordered so. I saw these a while back when they only had white and black and held off. Just bought the non-polished alumide version, should be here around Feb 10.

I just bought a replacement today from Ebay... mine is completely broken and the top actually comes completely off since the 2 rear brackets are broken as well. Good job on interior parts Audi!

I was seriously considering the velcro fix, i am going to grab one of these and see how well they are made, for the price it wont hurt to try.

JSandor from these forums passed by last Friday and he is running one... it isn't exactly OEM but for the price you can't go wrong. I ordered the same one he did and will be completely content with it after seeing it installed in his car.

I did what I thought was a really good job of fixing mine with epoxy only for it to break again the other day. I'll probably be ordering this.
Wtf though. 440 for silver?

That is some no shit sterling silver. Probably a good price for that much silver. The black plastic one is $13.19.

I found this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDI-Centre-Console-Armrest-Lid-Latch-Clip-Catch-beige-yellow-E177y/161170244523?_trksid=p2050601.m2372&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3 D1%26asc%3D207%26meid%3D4419806374268693642%26pid% 3D100085%26prg%3D1112%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D16 1170244523%26%26clkid%3D4419807152034468746&_qi=RTM1562569)on eBay. Not sure how close of a color match it is, but I'll know when I get it.

I need to fix my arm-rest, it broke a few months ago. I lost the little spring/clip though, and am annoyed at it having broken at all for how infrequently I use the stupid thing.
