The wife's allroad looks like it's trying to take off! The front end is in the sky and the back looks like it's trying to drag a$$! Air ride light flashes at first, then stays on. It will not adjust height whatsoever. It is quite bouncy over bumps. Any initial directions to look into would be greatly appreciated. I'm used to working on my S4's but am pretty green when it comes to the AR suspension. Much thanks in advance!

Could be a suspension sensor, could be the module, could just need calibrating (402) to level back out.
Read the suspension codes with Vag Com in module 34.

This just happened to mine but it's the front end taking a bow, read the code with vag-com and it's the front passenger level sensor, ordered it from ecs and it was suppose to arrive yesterday but once again USPS drop the ball. Same shit happened a few weeks ago when I was waiting on my fuel pump. USPS sucks monkey balls, sorry for the rant just pissed off. If you check the code I'm pretty sure it will be the level sensor.

Yeah Vag will be first on the agenda. I checked the spare parts. The previous owner replaced one set and it happened to be the rears...the ones dragging. I have a brand new set of fronts...Arnott Gen 2 I believe. I'll keep you all updated.

It's most likely the level sensor not the bags themselves, the code will let you know which one is bad

Forgot to mention, the suspension won't adjust manually either.

Don't know if this leads to anything for you gurus but when I do this below, I get "Error Channel 1 Not Available"
Click on Module 34 to enter the Level Control module. Your VAG-COM will open the module and you'll be presented with this screen. Click on Advanced Function 11 for the Login screen. This function unlocks the adaptation module.
When the Login screen appears, enter in 31564 and click on "Do It". You will then return to the previous screen. Click on module 10 to open the adaptation screen.
When the adaptation screen appears, be warned that you MUST finish the entire adaptation or else you will cause an error and you suspension will be locked in Level 2 until you successfully complete the full adaptation process. If you just purchased your VAG-COM tool and it is still running in "Shareware" mode, you will not be able to complete the process. If you do encounter an error while doing the adaptation, don't panic. Simply start the process over again from the start and it will complete eventually.
Press the UP button next to Channel Number to increase it from the default value of "00" to "01". If required, press the READ button. Your car will automatically adjust it's ride height to Level 2 for calibration. Wait for this height adjustment to complete. Your VAG-COM will list four green N/A's in the top four windows and to stored value will read "402".

11-10-Control Limit Not Reached - Intermittent

Cleared the codes and only the g291 remains

Well the G291 is inside the valve unit and can not be changed, you'll have to get a new valve unit I believe the part # is 4F0 616 013 & about $400 - $500

We loosened the lines from the valve unit just to see what happened. The LR and RR had a lot of hydraulic fluid come out. Seems as though both rear struts are blown. The car obviously sits low now since the lines were pulled. The compressor will run but not lift the car.
I'm guessing the fluid in the lines is messing with the G291?
