Oil Pressure Sensor

Having a real problem locating the pressure plug on my 2.7 Allroad. Removed the filter and felt all around the oil cooler I see no wires or plugs. There is one black wire that runs about half way the length of the lower pan tucked just above the pan. The black coating is absent for about the last 2 inches and goes to a small plug. If this is the plug I don't see how you could place a pressure check plug within that area. Everything I read indicates the pressure sensor in somewhere in the close proximity of the oli cooler/filter holder. Please help

The sensor is located on the front side of the motor between the oil cooler housing and the block/pan.
It should be a single pin sensor and requires a 24mm socket to remove the sensor.
Most oil pressure gauges come with an extended pipe that will allow access to the plug.
