While driving on the highway just cruising in 6th gear between 60-80 mph and wanting to accelerate, I go to step on the pedal more then it is pressed and my intake makes its blow-off noise like I was just pressing on it and releasing it to make the noise. But in reality my foot never left the pedal. can someone please give me ideas on what it can be?

Just the spacer and not the forge DV? Have you scanned it or leak tested yet? Should probably at least vag it and see if there's any stored faults.

The reason I ask about the DV is the forge requires you to run a vacuum line to actuate it. Wondering if there's an issue there.

Ha go figure, me too! If you don't figure it out, let me know if you'd like to meet up. My DV went a while ago and I'm sure I'll remember what a blown one sounds like!

We should exchange numbers and meet up sometime soon like 59 Dunkin in west Nyack and maybe talk and take a ride

My dv is just a spacer I'm not to sure about a vacuum line and if there needs to be one then that's probably the problem been running just that with extended bolts since 2010

No the spacer doesn't need the vac line. I would still pull it off. Your DV itself may be shot but you need to have it scanned with a VAGCOM.

I was thinking it might be blown, but I have an 08 and I'm positive that from 07 to 08 they changed the valve inside of it from rubber to metal so I wouldn't see why it can be blown but def will check it out thanks for your help! I was also thinking maybe a full tune up it hasn't had one ever in the history of me owning the car and that's 4 years jus regular oil changes and brakes once
