So just about forever I've been wanting more aggressive seats in my allroads. Sport seats in good condition are hard to find with the later more matte/grey leather as opposed to the early shinier/jet black leather and I think if I spent the money on them I would be kicking myself for not getting the Euro recaros.

I had a bit of a thought as I would pass by the Euro RS4/RS6 seats on ebay.de looking for Euro recaros, maybe I would go for the ultimate look and get the Recaro Sportster CS that the Audi seats are based off of. Then in looking for other seat options in the aftermarket world I came across Corbeau Sportline RRS. They look even more similar to the Audi seats than the Sportsters. Only problem is they come in crappy material and would need to be reupholstered.

Anyone have experience with either seat or have some pictures to contribute? Here's some sportster cs in a B5

Here are my personal 2 considerations next to the original. I definitely need matching leather and heat. The Recaro has the ability to add an airbag.

What else are you guys running that looks OEM+?

I've been wanting more aggressive seats as well. Very curious as to what you end up doing. Keep us updated.

Gumby has corbeaus in his allroad I believe.

Sportsters are so nice. Aside from looking absolutely boss, you can get them heated and the leather is high quality.

They're like $3-4k for a pair though IIRC.

I loved the seats in my B7 S4, less aggressive than the sportster but way better than the stock allroad seats. They're a good compromise and sometimes you can find them used for decent prices, also heated usually.

Yeah they're a lot. Someone is selling a new pair in the classifieds for $2500 though.

Nope, I run carbon fiber solid backed Status seats. They're about the furthest thing from oem looking you can get.

As much as I agree that lighter new style leather is WAY nicer, would it blend in a car that has that nowhere else? The rest of the car would be the darker, shiny, older stuff..

I have a facelifted AR and the leather is the lighter shade. I know because I tried to swap armrest covers from my 01 to my 03 and it didn't match.

How much modding is necessary to get an S4 seat to fit? I'm not TOO interested in that option as I think they look a bit dated, but if I ran into a set cheap enough I could justify it.

Care to PM your price, Korben? Rear seats included?

At this point I'm really liking the Corbeaus. They are much cheaper, I just hope that doesn't mean low quality.

Corbeau seats are noticeably lower quality than Recaro in general. They're cheap for a reason.

Installing S4 seats would be easy. You just need a mounting bracket and a custom pigtail to connect all the electronics. I just installed B8 S5 seats in my B5 S4. www.sinisterautoworks.com was able to make both the bracket and harness for me. You would be able to mount anything from a B5/B6/B7/B8 very easily. I know they are doing a group buy right now and plan to ship everything by the 14th.

IMO the seats in back gotta match, so OEM is the only way to get a set that matches.

4k for sportsters puts in in the bolt in European Recaro range.

Does anybody know if Audi ever made sport seats in the gray/beige color scheme? Or ecru/light brown as Audi calls it?

IN Europe they made interiors in every color imaginable, and many colors you wish you'd never seen. Orange, Herringbone, checkered...ever seen "Aubergine" Rs6 interior? It gets a little weird, but fun! So fun!
But there are a handful of Beige sport seats in C5's around- they were supplied in the A6 / 2.7t "s-line or maybe with a 'sport package' or something.
