Ok, so I've been searching around and really couldnt find an answer to my issue. I recently purchased a Sony XAV63 to replace my factory BOSE radio. I also purchased the correct Metra Harness 70-1787 as well as the Grounded Loop Adapter. I double checked the wiring and all seems to be correct. Except when connecting the stereo to the factory harness, I get sound from all speakers except from the front left speaker.

My first thought is the channel output from the radio could be bad, so I moved the rear RCA plugs to the front and the Front to the rear. That provided sound from the front left speaker and the front right, the rear right but now the left rear is not getting any sound.
So thinking it was a bad harness, I returned it to Amazon and received a replacement. Got everything wired up (yes the AMP turn wire is connected) and yet still the same problem. I double checked the setting to have the rear selected and not sub.

When I re-installed the factory Symphony radio, I tested all the (fading and changing the balance to each) speakers and all still work with no issues.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

So, it sounds like..front left speaker didn't when hooked up properly: to the left front output.
And now, rear left speaker isn't working when the outputs are swapped: so the left rear speaker is connected to the left front output?

So, what have we learned? Looks like the LEFT FRONT output at the stereo is not working from your description: since you have shown the speaker and wiring that is connected to that output are working fine?

That sounds like 100% bad front left RCA out on the radio.
