I think you're in the wrong section [:D] ... that civic hatch is exactly what you're looking for.

I dunno, our B7 sedan has been great. Failing TPMS sensor and coil packs in 2 yrs, 45k miles. Here's to more love from the car.
As for an Avant....get the newest, lowest mileage car you can OR a higher mileage car that's had the following done to it: upper control arms, cv boots and or new axles, t belt and tstat and get cam follower looked at PRIOR to purchase. Negotiate its cost with buyer ...see if they will pay half for the inspection. 2008 best year.

^^ Thats the guy that said he made 450 at the wheels with a Stage 3 kit. Everyone was quite skeptical. Whatever the power numbers actually are its a solid car for sure...

Yea its strange how he was saying 450, made zero sense but the car looks amazing, way overpriced though IMO.

He keeps stating to provide a dyno, 450 takes a lot of money to hit.

He had the dyno posted before, but everyone called him out on the numbers and it turned into a shitshow so I think he's witholding it this time so as to avoid that. Don't say I blame him, but I still don't believe the dyno a single bit.

I mean the APR Stage 3 setup is VERY nice of course and if I had the money to burn its a great setup.

It does look nicely done, I would say something was wrong with the dyno tho lol.

450 is a real optimistic hp to achieve on APR STG 3 kit[confused]. If he has, well more power to him[hail]. I'm struggling[wrench] just to get 340hp[facepalm] out of a APR KO4 on 93 octane tune[=(]. Mite go meth and run 100 octane and see what the # are.

IMO don't let high miles scare you. I bought mine with 162k and [wrench]up with KO4 and been [drive] hard ever since. All engine mods was done @ 163K. Previous owner was soccer mom with all maintenance done @ Audi dealer on time up till I purchased from wholesaler for 6500.00.

Id be looking @ http://newyork.craigslist.org/brx/cto/4272857099.html

I've had mine for the past 16 months and 33k miles (76k-109k) and it has been reliable, especially compared to my Stg. B5 S4. Also you won't have to worry about the timing chain issue the V8 S4's have, the MPG's are good, and the car is pretty fun to drive with a chip. The 2008's have the Rev. B camshaft which supposedly doesn't wear the cam follower but there have been people on this forum which have experienced otherwise. That's the only difference I know of between the model years, besides a little more chrome on the 2008 interior. Also, oil consumption can be an issue, luckily mine burns NO oil but others have had issues. Even though it's reliable, it's still an Audi and there were several maintenance items/ repairs performed by the previous owner and myself:

Previous owner:
Upper Control Arms
TSB for camshaft, follower, and HPFP
Ignition Coil Campaign

Under My Possession:
Timing Belt Service
Low Pressure Fuel Pump
Fuel, pollen, and air filters
Camshaft Adjustment Valve
Spark Plugs
PCV, Fuel Pressure Sensor, Intake Manifold Flapper Campaign

If you go for one, my suggestion would be to get an S-Line with technology package so you have the BT, adaptive headlights, rain sensing wipers, body styling, upgraded suspension etc. I wouldn't let mileage scare you as long as it has a good maintenance history.
