So i received my Maestro powetap cable, loaded all software on my PC, then flashed a stage 1 base file onto on my bone stock 2006 B7. I certainly notice the performance increase and now look forward to adding some performance parts one by one in the coming months. HFC ->HPFP -> Frankenturbo F23L (when released).
My question is, I though there was a library of base files for the various stages that I would have access to? There seems to be base files for other older audi engines available through Maestro for various stages and turbo/injector configurations , but not for our engine. Is this something i will have to tweak with the software as I add parts , or can i obtain new basefiles from eurodyne as I add parts?

What ECU do you have? You can get the base files from Chris Tapp, but you might get it faster from someone on the forum. I have a base stage 2 file for the M ecu. You technically can just work from the stage 1 file you have though.
We don't have many basefiles for the 8e0 ecu's Best you can do is go to file-> select base file-> ok select one of the BPY files that best fits your stage. Then export the maps you need. Usualy torque while shifting, optimum torque, the one right about that one, fueling if you have got injectors, otherwise stick to what you have, then the max ve, n75 duty table, and the boost PID map.

Appreciate the input. I believe ECU is 8E0 115M.
I understand i have a lot to learn.

Well I have a stage 2 base file for you if you want it. I could probably make you a base file of sorts for stage 3 if you ever need it.

I would do as Aluthman has suggested, I had to get one from Tapp, chances are more ppl have it now than when I got it and you can get one quicker from the forums.... they didnt/dont have BWT engine code available on the drop down menu in Maestro (which was my case). You however have chosen an excellent path for this car. I went stage 2+, then to F23L.. the car is AMAZING!
