Don't worry about scraping. I am lowered at least 2 inches in front and have the Rieger. If you have the oem Rs4 bumper it doesn't even sit as low as the Rieger.

Mine scraped all the time and I had to be super careful over everything.

I'm pretty dumped on H&R coil overs and a rieger front end which i just installed and i gotta raise it up a little. i now gotta back into my garage to get in its so low on my 17" RS4 wheels.

do yourself a favor and get the extra lip that goes on the bottom of the front bumper. i hace the carbon lip it was 300$. it will save your bumper . i would rather replace the lip every two years than have to repaint the bumper. ground to lip height 3inches

Hmm... i'd end up ripping a lip spoiler right off with my current height. My friend lost his on the 405 freeway a while back in his GTI. Hit a piece of big rig tire and gone was the lip!

i'd say i have about 3-3.5 inches of clearance from the ground to the bototm of my bumper...

but i just tore my bumper off so, should be careful about scraping...

Its always the unexpected that gets my front ends. First was a box dolly that fell off a work truck and slammed into my A4 bumper, wasting it. Then i get my S4 bumper and some pr*ck flys out in front of me at LAX from the loading zones and i take him out. Now i'm super low in the front with the Rieger RS4.... and considering a slight raise. We don't have the best maintained freeways here in SoCal, especially the 710. Notorious for truck tire pieces, etc.
