Radio turns off...

In my 98 a4 my radio that I have in the car shuts off randomly during shifting or bumpy roads. It's a alpine head unit. It's getting a bit annoying listening to music or connecting through gps for directions to have it cut out. Any ideas or connections suggested that I check out? Thanks.

Pull the radio and make sure the wiring harness isn't loose/missing wires/chafed/etc.

I pulled the radio and all connections are tightly connected. I don't understand it. I may have to putt the head unit and look further. Any suggestions?
