Ok, from my understanding, you run a link wire from the 12v source on the bad sensor (unplugged) to the 12v source to the good sensor right?
This is a TEMPORARY fix, as I will be pulling the bad one to see if there is a bad joint in it. Car is my DD, so I need to drive it.
Anyway, my problem is, my volt meter took a crap on me a couple weeks ago, and I don't really have money to replace it with going over board on Christmas gifts for my little girl.
I have pictures below, of the right one (brown) and the left one (black) with wires showing. I am wondering which one goes to which one. If anyone can help me, I would REALLY appreciate it. My guess would be the green/white wire?

If I remember right: disconnect the bad sensor, jump the BLUE wire from the good sensor still plugged in to the blue wire on the connector (disconnected) to the other sensor.
That's it.
Pretty sure that's it. And I don't think it's 12v. And this time of year in Nebraska it's a complete non-issue.
EGT's only tell the ECU to enrich a hot bank when the temp is above above something like 840* in the exhaust. IF you have temps like that this time of year in Nebraska then you have another problem! crap!!

As I wasn't sure which of the 3 wires were "active", so I linked all 3 (blue to blue, brown to brown etc) then unplugged the known-bad sensor.
Completely fixed my lack-of-power problem and the fuel consumption improved by almost 10%...
Spooky coincidence.... the colours brown, blue and green/yellow are the standard wiring colourrs in Europe for mains power cables..
I'm sure thuis has no significance at all, but it would be perverse to use anything other than the mains wiring standard: Brown=Live, Blue=Neutral, Green/Yellow=Ground.

I went out tonight, and was looking for these stupid sensors. I found a diagram that states where they are at. (mine is a 2000 2.7t)

I do believe I found mine, but do you normally find bank 1&2 directly next to each other, or is that sensor behind the EGT sensor not the right one? I looked where it says the other one is at (I didn't remove the intake) and couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance.

The "sensor" part of each EGT is installed in the exhaust, just downstream of the manifold in the downpipe. There's about 14" of lead /wire that connects each sensor to it's "box" and those are installed right next to each other up on the intake manifold area~ depending on the engine and trans combination. Some are attched physically to each other and some are installed several inches away from each other, but still very close, but still on a bracket behind/under the Y-pipe like in the picture.

Ugh, I hate learning new things sometimes. I am an American car guy, with a German car, so please bare with me, since I have never had to deal with this before. My Bank 1 EGT is bad, so I can disconnect the sensor there, tap the blue wire into the sensor right behind it and be good for the time being? Please correct me if I am wrong. These cars really don't have a lot of write-ups like B4's or other major vehicles out there lol.
