S6, S7 4.0T 0-60 tuned and untuned.

Hi all,

There is another post with quartermile times and what not but not alot with 0-60 times. 0-30 and 0-60 is alot more relevant to real world, afterall, who does a 1/4 mile stop light drag race? I back off at about 35 - 40mph.

If you have actually measured your 0-60 and even 0-30 time can you post it please.

Please include.
Model, Method (Vbox, Gtech, track), Tune (brand), temp and altitude if known, other performance mods (exh, int), octane, with or without launch control and ofcourse the times. If you have dynoed yours, please incude that as well. I hope I'm not being to nosey.

Meters can be expensive how common are they out there?

I'm curious what this can do and if enough results can get an idea of how certain things affect the times.

How much throttle delay, if one is not using launch control?

The stock S6 I drove, seemed to lag a lot off the line. With the amount of lag I felt on the stock S6 the the 0-60 numbers would be much worse than a stock S4, if measured from the starting movement of the throttle.

There is definitely some lag in the S6 depending on the drive select options. Was the S6 in full sport mode?

There's no lag when you use launch control.

I do not know what mode it was in, only drove it for a short time. I probably need to try another S6 test drive.

Just trying to get a more complete, real world assesment. Also, I've seen very little in 0-60 times, only 1/4 mile. Magazine times vary from 3.7 to 4.8 seconds
