So.....
A few months back i fitted 'euro' RS4 wheel in my car with slip ring and computor, coded them all into the car and together all buttons lit up, horned worked and no warning lights.....lovely
Since then i've had engine issues so RS4 wheel took a back seat, but now i'm breaking engine in so looking for info on the RS4 wheel
As far as i know the buttons on the left are for:
Top - S = sport mode (seats, suspension, exhaust flaps)
Bottom - SET = for lap timer ?
Right buttons are:
Top - + = volume increase?
Bottom - - = volume decrease?
I never paid much attention to the buttons not working as i have an aftermarket (pioneer) headunit, i don't have lap timer or sport mode functions
I was speaking with Mariusz (the guy whi makes VFIZ) i was about to order one - been on my to do list for a long time, he never tried VFIZ with RS4 wheel and suggested me trying to find info on functionality
After trawling google for hours i've drawn blanks, so connected VCDS today and connected to steering wheel, the fields for buttons 1-4 said 'Non Oper' for non operational and didn't change when i pressed the button...
I tried coding the steering wheel in all combinations but no joy
So why is my steering wheel not recognising buttons being pressed?
Is there anyway of getting buttons to work?
Is there anyway to change what the buttons control?
My car is a 2005 2.0t fsi quattro dtm
Rs4 wheel with multi function slip ring and computor all matched
Thanks, Olly
