So my wife called me this morning after NY finally warmed up to around 40 degrees from near Zero and she was driving to work with our B7. She said- It's making a faint high-pitched noise when I accelerate over 30 mph but it goes away when i'm around 65. No other issues (Accel, idle, etc...). I read in some other posts that this could be PCV, water pump, or belt tensioner? Any thoughts? I'm due an oil change soon so I could always have it looked at then as well.

Thanks.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but are you sure its not the turbo spooling?

Or is it a screech?

Haha I don't know this is what my wife said - since the sound has disappeared I have no clue... Guess that's a good thing though?
