This is an OUTSTANDING opportunity for those of you with DOCUMENTED ADVANCED DRIVING EXPERIENCE there are no instructors so if you do not have a good number of track events under the belt, and if you are not absolutely comfortable by yourself and your car this ain't for you!!

This literally is the event of my dreams. I would even consider the 13 hour drive and ditch my family, but it starts the day I get back from being in Europe all week. Sad. [=(]

We had a great group of drivers at COTA over the weekend with only one minor off. A Ford GT went off, knocking loose his driver's side mirror.
Weather was cool (high of 45) Friday with a bit of moisture causing a 2 hour stoppage on track. Track took an early lunch so we only lost 1 hour Friday.
At the drivers meeting Saturday, COTA track management gave us an extra hour both Saturday and Sunday to make up for the lost hour Friday. Kudos to COTA management. Sunny and 60 in Saturday. Sunny and 70 on Sunday.
A good weekend with a fun group of safe, courteous drivers.
