Going to make a nice sport MFSW for the allroad. The one with white thread is for another allroader we know that luckily has the white piped RS6 seats...

Thought about flat bottom but daily driven and didnt want to look too too sporty ;)

Yes, yes and yes....i should have the wheels in hand in a week or so. As soon as I get them and can confirm they are good as good in person as they look, I will pass on the contact info for the guy that made em for you. Just want to make sure before I send a referral that it is warranted :)

Love the look, but dual stage airbag was not something I wanted to risk. You need to perf the shift knob and e-brake handle now.

Look what has landed. I ordered two and got them both shipped to my buddy in the tri-state area. He took this pic and is shipping mine to me tomorrow :)

Mine is the black thread. His is the white.

He told me they look absolutely gorgeous and 100% OEM. That's probably what would be the very most important to me. It would bug me way too much if the leather didn't match like some of the other wheels retrofitted.

Really dig the beefier look.

That looks so good! Once your seal of approval is met, I am very interested in details. Like did you supply the wheel & they wrapped it? Do they do 4 spokes too? Can they add contours to make a round wheel have the grips/bumps/contours? What bag do you need? Are they also available without tip buttons?

Nope, I just placed an order and he sourced the wheel, did the work to spec and shipped it. He will do any wheel I would assume. With this wheel, I am using a single stage B6 A4 airbag and yes TIP is something I wanted since they are actually my MFSW buttons to control my RNS-E (see link) :)

He's a supplier that I found a while ago. I'm not sure on the quality, but their gallery will give you an idea of what is capable.

Personally I'd LOVE to have heated, flat-bottom 3 spoke with the Ricam tip to radio funtion mod. But I think putting heat in a wheel would either be impossible or too difficult. So I'd be really interested to see what a modded 4 spoke could look like. I'd have to live with the larger diameter though.

Nope, I don't think so either, so quality would still be unknown. Nice to see some options actually made up. Anyone with the knowledge and skill could whip one of those up.

I will get some high detailed pics and a video posted once I get it in my hands, but yes sir you are right, you just never know the quality of the work until you get it though. That and the fact that some people are SUPER $ versus others is what made me never pull the trigger until now. How is the ar coming along?

Adding heat would be pretty easy, it's just resistance wire wound around the wheel. The trick would be to place it so you can't see the wire.

I have always heard that the wire is so fragiletrhat most guys won't do it. Would be awesome as I would have added it but would have been an even tighter fit for the MFSW mod I did to the sport wheel

There was a "How To" posted on quattroworld, and I think it was Tozo that did it.

Wheel is finally in my hands. Popped in an airbag and snapped some pics. allroad is in the shop but I will pick it up tomorrow and if all goes well, I will try and swap over the MFSW parts from my current wheel and slap this in the car.

Quality is amazing. Super happy with how it came out!!!

He does have an ad right now. And that looks AWESOME!! I PM'd Raggaman, he was good with responses. I will likely be getting at least one of these, possibly 2. The determination of #2 would be retaining my heated wheel option in the Allroad. I love that, and must have it! My A6 doesn't anyway. In the Allroad I would possibly do a 4 spoke so I could keep audio & phone controls.. The A6 will get a 3 spoke Sport wheel for sure..

This three spoke wheel has phone and radio controls on it. I did a DIY on how to do it. No heat though. Would be nice but didn't think.it was an option. If so, let me know.
