View Full Version : Anyone notice the cabin of RS7 is unusually warm?

Compared to my previous A7, I have to continuously run the ac temp at 67 degrees to keep the Interior cabin cool?

Yes seat warmer is off

Edit: found the reason. The rear cabin temperature was set to 80 degrees! Just pressing in and holding the front drivers temperature knob does NOT reset the front and rear temp settings. You have to go to the car settings-> A/C->Rear Cabin settings and set them there (blah)

Seriously, perhaps it has to do with hot exhaust pipes running under the center console.

I'm serious! This car is hot! LoL

Now it makes sense why audi doesn't offer the heated steering wheel - your palms are always clammy from the 95 degree ambient temp! :)

My kids used to blast the heat in the back....drove me mad while trying to cool the front (2010 Q7). I learned to use the child lock feature - cause it locks out changes to the rear a/c, heating/cooling of the captains chairs...

Funny, how practically everything in a car needs a child lock, doors, windows ...and A/C. [:)]
