Ok I have searched and obviously know I need 6 1/2 inch with 1 inch tweeters for the easiest swap. But I was looking for some personal experience with different brands. I am by no means an "audiophile" so I honestly good care less about the brand. I am just looking for a set of components that don't require any custom brackets or difficulty fitting. Not that I can't handle it I just prefer my frustrations to be spent on engine issues instead haha. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Best,
Fitz

You can fit almost any 6.5" driver upfront.
Audi does use a non-standard mounting block.
The best solution is to build an MDF baffle. If you're not up to doing that or couldn't be bothered, you can gut the Bose driver and use it as your baffle. That is, mount your new driver to the gutted Bose driver and then mount it to the std mounting point.

I used a set of DLS UP6 in my B6.

^^^^^ This

I have JL Audio Components in front and coaxial on back. Very easy to install but time consuming.

This is what I did, although its not really gutting the Bose driver, you simply unscrew and pry the Bose driver out of the plastic door mount (it's glued in there) and then screw your new speaker into the plastic mount. Then screw that back onto the door, my Bose woofers can easily be put back in again when the time comes. The tweeters can be awkward to find some that stay secure in the stock mounting points, but it's fairly easy to get most 1" tweeters in there.
