So I just got out of class and noticed that it looks like the cover for the rear fog light got ripped off or something... my car's a C5 A6

Anyone know where I can find this piece to buy? Is it even replaceable? Also the chrome trim along the bottom is a little bent so the clips don't line up. Seems like someone rear ended me...

Sorry bro, that is a part of the license plate bracket. Either look for someone parting out a c5 on craigslists or a forum. They are pretty quick with shipping, and the parts are good when I bought for my a8.

Just edited, its for US plate it says. I never replaced one. Looks like its held with screws.

Thanks a lot man! At least now I know what the part is called just in case.. I know there's a junkyard near me that has a few Audis. I'll take a look and see if I can snatch one.

Straight forward install, remove the trunk lining & the brackets held on by a couple 10mm.

Hang on-- you're saying the Avant vs. Sedan plate tubs are the same? Because when I've compared them- they obviously have different part #'s and the sedan one is more "curved" vertically...while the Avant tub has kind of a "crease" in it below the rear fogs.
I could imagine they're interchangable..but not exactly the same?

Well, my car had an avant tub in it. I can't say for certain that every curvature was the same, but I can say it bolted in.
