I am getting a misfire on cylinder 1 and am unable to diagnose what the cause is. I have done the following and have had zero success figuring out the issue. PLEASE HELP!!!

-Compression Test (everything was perfect)
-Replaced Coil Pack
-Replaced Spark Plug
-Swapped Injectors (figured if it was a bad injector it would misfire on a different cylinder/Misfire stayed on Cylinder 1)

***In the mean time I have disconnected the injector on Cylinder 1 so that I am not just dumping fuel and killing my gas mileage***

The misfire is the worst between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM. Thank god for tiptronic so that I am able to kind of make it somewhat drivable.

Here is the results of my scan with my VAG-Com...

17645 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 1 (N30)
P1237 - 35-00 - Open Circuit
(because you unplugged it)

16685 - Cylinder 1
P0301 - 35-00 - Misfire Detected
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-00 -

its possible that its not only cylinder 1 coil pack that is bad......usally when a coil pack is bad and causes a misfire it causes other cylinders to misfire.
you have Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected so i would replace all plugs and coil packs

it also could be maf is dirty or on its way out with that code you have.

maybe vacuum leak

I however would NOT drive there car with a misfire and a fuel injector unplugged.
