We are hoping to go this year. I'm also actually in a drawing for a 3-day pass…with pretty good odds. (crossed fingers).

I would go this year, but I really don't want to deal with the crowd again. It's going to be even more ridiculousness this time around.

I am coming down from Vancouver, BC Canada for the race next weekend on my own. I had a couple of friends who were potentially joining me too, but they bailed. I am going regardless!. Very excited; attending an F1 race has been a goal of mine for many years now! Decent Austin hotels are damn spendy! Staying in San Antonio, renting a car and commuting to the races Saturday qualifying and Sunday race day obviously. Any tips for a fellow audiziner tourist? Best way into the track each day? ( parking is costly at the track by looks of it ya?). Any tips or suggestions from anyone who went last year would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I believe they have CHEAP parking at the convention center where a shuttle will then take you to the event.

I did this. I would do it again. Cheap option, parking garage to park in, and easy. Beats paying $100 at the track.
