I got a 2012 A6 2.0T Premium, all stock

So the first thing I needed to do was to get tints (35% all around), plus remove the chrome that was around the grille and the windows.

Then smoked the taillights and removed the "A6" and the "2.0T" off the trunk

Now, my next step is putting on black rims and changing my headlights to the ones with the DRL strip. I'm hoping that'll take place next week. The rims are 19 inch Sevas S-stars and I had them on my A4, I'd like to use them on the A6 if they'd work...

Next week will be a new week, but for the first 4 days, I'm OK with the makeover so far...

Congrats on the new A6! Very clean, except I wouldn't have smoked the tails or used those wheels. But to each their own!
The Sevas might fit if their center bore is 66.6mm or up. Your old B6 a4 has a 57.1mm bore while your new A6 is 66.6mm. So you'll have to do either of the following:
1. If the center bore of the Sevas are above 66.6mm, you'll need to switch out the hubcentric rings for something that'll the 66.6mm on your A6.
2. If the center bore on the Sevas are exactly 66.6mm, you'll need to just take out the hubcentric rings, and they'll fit perfectly on your A6.
3. If the center bore on the Sevas are below 66.6mm, you'll need to have a machine shop bore it to 66.6mm to fit your new A6.

Thanks for the advice man, I'll be trying to switch the wheels on Monday night...

It's a car wrap, I did it at this place in L.A. called Sticker City (www.stickercity.com) if you wanna see the work they do. I have a friend who wrappd his car up entirely 6 years ago and it still hasnt come off one bit, thats why i feel comfortable with their work. If at any time I want the chrome back, I can peel off the black stickers, but I seriously doubt that i will...

$325 for the front grill + window chrome, and 90 for the tailights
I wanted it done ASAP cuz i wasnt feeling the chrome but I'm sure i could've found it cheaper if i actually did some research. These guys have the best track record and reputation, so thats why i chose them over cheaper places

Added the headrest DVD players so my daughter can watch her cartoons on roadtrips and stop nagging me. Plus I lowered the ride by 1.4" with the H&R springs. I'd like to lower it more to be honest, but I'll take the 1.4" for now as opposed to spending more dough on coilovers

Only thing i dont like is the smoked tail lights, im gonna go back to stock. The wheels i put on temporarily bc the stocks were garbage, otherwise i still dont regret "blacking out" the ride, i wasnt feeling the chrome

Yeah, if you're going the aftermarket wheel route, you for sure need at least 20 in. for a 6. The car is too large for 19's.
Looks good otherwise.

just do your thing, it is your car you can make it look how ever you want, I personally like the blacked out trim I think you did a great job with that. We all know how a long road trip with bored kids are so I think the headrest TV's are also well done.
The wheels I was never a fan of but wheels are expensive and it takes time to find the right ones.

Funny how the people on the other forums love the car and here they ripped me a new one. I notice that on all these forums when one person has an opinion, 20 other sheep follow. I personally like it and once I change my tires I'll like it even more :)

Got some more time/money on my hands so I'm making a few additional changes this month. I undid the tint off the taillights (went back to stock), painted the calipers, ordered an RS6 grill (also all blacked out besides the rings) plus I finally picked some 20 inch wheels (will order them this weekend probably).
