So I bought my 98.5 a4 2.8q about 2 years ago and I've put countless hours and dollars into it just to get it running smooth and it finally is but I want more power I was thinking about an s4 but with the money I've put into my a4 I'm curious, are there any decent power gains I can get? If so what are they?

i always question what are your goals? There are alot of ways to make a car quicker just what are you willing to sacrifice?

im in the same boat haha. there is one more option and i know everyone goes nuts every time i say this but here it goes. my plan with mine right now im sourcing parts for the oe1 s4 drivetrain swap and all asociated parts mainly just cause mine is showing its age and the 01e is a better tranny. but ive been gathering research on 034s single turbo kit. it will bolt right up to our exhaust manifolds and should work with our cars. BUT its not easy or cheap by any means. the kit is over 3k plus you'd need a lot of s4 parts and custom inter cooler piping and im not sure what to do with the tuning. and you guys have the older drive by cable engines which makes it even more of a pain. but yea it is a possibility just throwing it out there.
