Hi folks,

The car is new to me and previously unloved (according to the state of the interior), but serviced per the schedule.

Neither speaker (main or tweeter) make a sound in the left rear door. The speakers in the right rear door seem to work properly until the door is opened to it's last detent. Then they both (main & tweeter) cut out completely. All other speakers in the car seem to function properly.

Wiring trouble or amplifier trouble or both? The right rear that cuts out when the door is fully opened MUST be the wiring in or at the door.

Is there a step-by-step here somewhere for removing the door panels?

Thanks,
Glenn

That problem is usually in the rubber boot in the door.

Thanks Christian. I think I found out how to pull the door panels, so I'll check it out next weekend and let you guys know.

Cheers,
Glenn
