B5 S4: aftermarket stereo and ACC wire?

I recently installed an aftermarket Pioneer appradio in my 2000 B5 S4. The problem I am having is the radio will only turn on when I turn the keys all the way to On position and all the lights on my dash is lit. Can this be wired so that I can turn the key one switch and have the radio on?

Sounds like you've got either your main or switched power wired to the cars lighting circuit, all three exist in the harness you disconnected from your Symphony h/u. Recheck your wiring.
