Hi guys. I've recently been having the big APR or AWE debate internally. The biggest performance factor for me was DSG TCU tune (as I'm obviously DSG equipped). However, another huge issue for me how far the nearest dealer was from me, in the event any issues or updates come about. That being said the closest AWE dealer to Fayetteville NC was Charleston SC. Enter Spec Ops Motorsports.
Spec Ops primarily focuses on EVO IIX and IX, but they have worked on everything from American Muscle cars to German sports sedans. BTW I'm not sure on the details, but I know for a fact that some of their Evo's are world class fast (10.19 IIRC in the stock appearing class) I personally trusted them to tune my Evo X and they did a fantastic job. They have an in-house mustang dyno, and are more than capable of installing any hardware or available for our cars.
Any body in the NC or northern SC areas should check them out as they are capable and close by.
