Black optics package build date

I just learned that my recently ordered 2014 S4 6MT will have a "build date" of October if I skip the Black Optics package, but a build date of February if I get the option. Anyone else running into this? I was told that the dealers have back ordered all the available Black Optics packages, and availability is poor. I really wanted the package, but not with a four month delay....

I ran into this issue too. I ordered my car with blk optics on 7/5. I learned two weeks ago that production got pushed back to mid Nov. I gave up on it and bought one that had it all, but black optics. It was on their lot and is great. I was on the fence about the blk optics pkg anyway.

I'll be putting my black optics grill up for sale tomorrow pretty cheap if you end up with a non optics S4.

I didn't think the grill was compatible across models? S5, S5, SQ5? Was informed that each was different.
