I'm looking for some upgrade for my 2011 S4 Premium, and I'm wondering few thing.

I first looked at APR, for a complete tune (stage 2+, pulley kit, full exhaust line) for about 5500$. Than I might need some suspension upgrade, like coilspring or coilover kit. At the end of the day, I'm wondering if the complete "stasis Touring" package worth the price ? They quote me 8380$ US all included (labor, parts alignment). For this price, the 20's are included but I'm not anyway very sure about their style....

Does the Touring package's tune is equivalent to the complete APR stage 2+tune with pulley and complete exhaust line ? There's not much details on Stasis website, so I'm wondering if the Touring edition is not only a tune (no pulley) and exhaust (not a full line) ?

Anyone has this complete upgrade ?

I also asked a quote for the challenge edition, and it's 14000$ US all included. Engine upgrade seems similar to touring edition, so what would be the difference for 6000$ more ?

Any comment welcome !

That's the package I have. I bought it used with tune, suspension, and exhaust. Just bought the wheels too (also used). I love the package. I stopped by there last month to talk to the guys and they are working on a pulley upgrade and a supercharger upgrade as well. Not sure about intake work, but I think there was some discussion about that somewhere else. Obviously, I can't say whether it's worth it to you, but I like the package.

HOLY CRAP NO! let me be the first to reiterate those numbers are RIDICULOUS! you're basically paying for warranty. if thats the concern, just get the stasis tune and get everything else from other places. AWE is a much better sounding exhaust. Other wheels look much better at half the cost. other suspension upgrades are much cheaper, unless you are set on high-end coilovers.

It's a stasis tune (no pulley), exhaust, springs, wheels, and a rear sway bar.

For 8300 you can do better.

If the warranty means that much to you, get the stasis tune, but go a different route for the other parts. Eurocode sways and pick up the end links too, any other exhaust (APR, AWE, or Milltek), and if you want springs pick up a set of H&Rs or something, but personally I'd stay away from them and save up for coilovers. Skip the wheels and put the money toward something forged.

Well, that's challenge package but with that price (12k) + nicely equipped S4 (55k), just a couple thousands more and you can get an S6!

Well, thanks for the nice answers guys, it just confirm what I taught ! Little bit more about my intentions for a near future (next summer)

Right now I'm tracking my other car, a 2012 Golf R, but as my S4 lease end up un next June, I might decide to keep the S4 and modify it for tracking purpose as well as daily driving. I'm not worry about warranty as there will be only 1 year left by the time I make the move (if any). I think that stage 2+ APR look to be the way to go as their tune is much more complete (Tune+pulley+intake+complete exhaust line for 5500$ as mention above). Then a coil over set+swaybar, and eventually a set of lightweight wheel to complete the kit, and all that for well under 10k$.

I really like the specs of the new S6, but it's a way too big for the kind of car I'm looking for. The V8T seems to be one of greatest Audi's engine ever, but I won't go this way. My other option would be to buy a 2008-2009 BMW M3 sedan instead of buying back my S4 at the end of the lease....

Yes, S6 is a different monster. If you like to drive a small car and be very connected with it then S6 may not be the car for you. It's very quiet and comfortable so you will feel more disconnected from the surrounding but it's not like S6 is not agile. It's as agile as S4 or probably even more but you need a different style to drive it since it's a bigger car. I'm leaning toward comfort more now a day but still can't give up performance so S6 is exactly what I want my car to be.

I don't think the S6 handles nearly as well as the S4. Way too heavy with excessive understeer and body roll.

At first, prior to commence doing any track, I was looking to replace the S4 at the end of the lease with an S6. I drive mostly highway, but really enjoy quiet environment of my S4, and love all the new goodies the S6 offers like the Nightvision, Bang & Olufsen Audio, Adaptative cruise control to name few. But after seing an S6 parked beside me, I found the size of the car a way too big for me, and also the interior is, let say...grey, grey and grey ! I love my dual color interior (orange+anthracite)with carbon fiber accent inside my current S4. Anyway to end up about the S6, I started doing some track.....

I love tracking my Golf R (stage 1+ APR) the car is very agile, but think it would be much more fun with my S4 and a little tune....The Haldex of the R is more like a FWD feeling, and there's less powerband than the 3.0T of the S4....even in stock mode.

Bringing this back from the dead. Does anyone have the price for the Stasis touring suspension package (springs and rear sway bar)? Also the touring exhaust. I can't seem to find the prices anywhere and I'm trying to compile a mod list for insurance.

Thats maybe because Stasis is defunct. It is an ex tuning company......

I am aware of that. I was hoping someone who was around then might remember what they were going for. The pages are still up with product info, but of course no pricing. Maybe I'll call NGP in the morning.
