Hi. About 1mnth ago I joined the S4 family with a used 2013 EB PP S4. It was CPO and had 1400mls when I picked it up.
Being working on modding it since then.
The first week I got:
VAG mods(Thank U shonseb!!!!)
20% tints all over and 35% on windshield.

Yesterday I ordered:
AWE exhausts with resonated DP 102mm quad tips
HR OE sport springs
Will attempt to post before and after videos once the exhaust is installed. Cant wait. Thanks to shonseb the soundakator was turned off using VAG. The cabin is pretty quiet now on the highway: can hear the supercharger whine from the intake louder than the exhaust note.
Future plans:
Will be due for the 5K service soon planning to get the GIAC stage I tune after.
Eurocode sway bars
Once the tune is done I will probably take a sabbatical from further mods for now as Old man winter will show up here in the NE.
Planning to leave the winter tires on the stock 19" wheels. Will get custom wheels during spring(looking at various options...have not decided yet!!!

Car looks great! About 3 weeks ago i picked up a '13 Estoril Blue, too. The RS4 grill looks awesome. I like the red calipers. Was thinking about doing that as well. Did you do it yourself or have it done?

The rings on the front look a little higher than they should be, as well as the S4 logo being too low. Throws the eye off a little but I'm being picky here.

Very nice color! good choice!
Looks great, can't wait to see how the AWE 102mm fits in the rear valence. I just had H&R OE springs installed on my EB and the car sits perfect now.

I got it done. Unfortunately I dont have the time to get it done myself. There are others on this forum that painted it by themselves though...The pictures dont do it justice. The red stands out well with the EB. If u are on the fence, go for it. I love the way it looks.....Dupilcolor from Pepboys.

Not sure about the rings..but the S4 badge I realize is a little lower than it is supposed to be. Considered not having it on at all...Thanks for the input though. May reposition it. For anyone who is thinking about the S4 grill: go for it. The car looks a lot better and "meaner" with it than the stock grill.

Supposed to get installed on 10th. I will definitely post pictures with the tips. Will(from AWE) could only send me pictures of the tips on the S5. It looked neat on the S5. I'm hoping it will be the same.
Thanks for the feedback on the springs. I debated about doing it since here in NE winter is around the corner(sucks!!!)..but wanted a little more agressive stance. When I searched the forum, photos of the cars with the springs installed looked pretty sweet.

How's the ride now with the installed springs? Harsh? Also, which H&R springs did you go with? Thanks! Have been debating the springs but I don't want the ride to suffer. Coilovers are an option just not sure if the investment is worth it for me.

Car looks great, really love the calipers. I'm gonna paint mine red this weekend with some G2, hoping to come out as good as yours. I agree with the ring position being off (def too high), but it's up to you whether it's a big enough deal to fix, car still looks great. Really love the EBC with RS grille. It's crazy how quiet the stock exhaust is when you disable the soundakator, just xpiping the rear resonator has increased my volume by at least 10 db (pulling that number out of my ass, but that's what it feels like) and makes passengers wide eyed after the DCT fart sound.
Make sure you think about the springs long and hard. I too put H&R OE springs on, the stance is fantastic but the ride is pretty bouncy. It'll cost you at least 300 to get the springs on (400 for me) and then another 100 for the alignment fix. If you don't have the ADS dampers, I'd seriously consider going all out for a proper set of coilovers or figuring out what shocks to put on with your springs. Also, my front camber was at -1.7" after the drop, and with the spc adjustable arms, was able to dial back to -1.4" (changes alignment chart color from red to green, I think OEM spec is within -.8" to -1.6"). Sounds insignificant, but I can feel a pretty big difference in how much less springy it feels side to side, assuming this will make a big difference in tire wear.

Your build is coming along very nicely! The red calipers really compliment and enhance the look of the EB. I wanna see the exhaust when it comes in, should get rid of that annoying silence. Hey everyone, we were wondering what spacers some of you guys were running. He's going to drop on OE springs on stock peelers wrapped with conti dws. Somebody on the forums must be running the same setup. He was looking for something that causes no rubbing.
Nice build, I really like the calipers and paint. As i'm looking at trading my A4 i was wondering, will putting on an intake cause you any hassle when you bring it in for service? I asked this to my local and he said i'd have warranty issues or is it dealer pending?
Cheers.

Car looks great, who installed the exhaust , they are perfectly aligned
The S4 logo should be center with the rings just like the OEM way

Looks great! Love the color. For the RS4 grille, I see you installed the plastic cover over the foam piece. Did you modify the plastic piece at all? It fit a little funny (looked squished and therefore bent a little) when I installed it. Any tips?

Thanks. It was installed at a custom installer close to where I live. They do a good job. Very meticulous.

Thanks again. I did not install the plastic cover that came with the kit. That is actually painted. The dealer used gloss paint rather than flat(I forgot to tell them): they told me its the same paint that is used to paint wipers etc. Assured me( for whatever its worth) that it will never chip. I got the 3M wrap from ECS. Did not use it.

I see your having trouble placing the rings, I have mine mounted perfect if you want I can make you a cardboard template and mail it to you so you can get them perfect. Let me know.

The rings are supposed to be centerlined with the top side bend of the grille next to the lights. Look at your stock grille to see what I mean. The rings are just a tad high in your first pic and way off on the last one. Raise them up and center them properly like your stock one was and it'll be in the right place. Just measure the space from the top of the grille to the rings on the factory grille. It's not a difficult concept.
