Which option would be the best

Hello everyone. Looking to lower my car on a set of H&R springs. Not sure if the OE or SuperSports. Wanted to head some advise from people with either or on 19's.

No idea on the suspension but whats with all the crooked shots, the car is almost upside down in the last one ???

pretty big difference between oe's and super sports. not many on here run the super sports because they are pretty stiff for the oem dampers and they are low. oe's are the popular choice, gets rid of most of the fender gap and ride is like oem. if your looking for middle of the road, look at the sports. personally, if i had to do it again, i would do coils...not because of the ride quality (i think the oe's are great), just because i'd like to have adjustability and be able to go lower.

I run Super Sports with 20's and have zero complaints. Height is perfect and the ride isnt nearly as rough as forum members told me it would be.

I wanted to go with supersports based on photos of other cars but then when i saw a car with OEs in person, it was plenty low and there was no need to go with the supersports. I'd never go with the sports because of the uneven lowering - greater drop in the front than rear, personally i think that looks completely ridiculous and stupid but hey, your car your choice.

I think the OEs give you more options for aftermarket wheels/tires too and less risk of rubbing with wider/larger rims.

Most people also don't factor in the change from run flats to standard tires. You can lower a car, put it on 20s, but take off the run flats and end up with a smooth riding car.

I would highly suggest if you go with a super sport spring to upgrade your OEM shocks to something aftermarket that's made for lowering springs. This will hugely effect the ride quality and longevity of the suspension.

OEM shocks with super sport springs will blow out in a very short period of time and the ride will get worse and worse as the miles rack up.

i had H&R sports temporarily and it was actually the opposite! the rears sat slightly lower, which gave it reverse rake look ): i HATE reverse rake.. lol. ask pete, he actually has them on his new b8.5
