Hello to all.
I need your help to decide if it is worth these extras:
Adjustable cushioning "damper control" .. (Yes) (Not)
(In a better future change springs, complete shock absorber)
Sports rear differential .. YES
Dynamic Leadership .. (Yes) (Not)
Now I have more questions, you speak of problem in the steering and also the carbon ..[headbang]
Greetings from Spain and I am sorry my english, is a translator.
Thank you very much.

Yes for the sport diff. As to the dampers, I'd say no if you plan on putting in coilovers. Otherwise, it can be a nice feature. No idea what Dynamic Leadership is?
As far as the steering, I believe that can be remedied through VCDS, and the carbon problem is in the Secondary Air Intake system...it won't cause any sort of loss of power or performance, just a CEL that may cause you to fail an emissions test. It's also covered under warranty until 120,000 miles, so no need to worry

Here there is no guarantee of carbon, alone there are two options:
1Š Technical Service Audi, paying money.
2Š Using a product for cleaning, but i think you need much product.
Initial price S4 = 61.630 € ( $82.559,5)
Other options (extra, additional) = 16.045 € ( $21.433,6) no MMI
Total Price = 77.675€ ( $104.053)
A lot of money to have a problem with the carbon and the steering, In the USA could buy two S4[drool]

Here's what I have and I personally wouldn't go with anything else if I had to buy again.
Sport Diff
MMI w/Nav (gives you the additional "Individual" setting for the charisma on the car)
Side Assist and backup cam (nice little features to have, I use the side assist more to know when some yahoo is riding my side than anything else).
With this I get dynamic engine/steering/sport diff settings with options for Auto/Comfort/Dynamic/Individual via a button press on the dash and I have control over tailoring each of the settings for Steering, Engine/Transmission and Rear Diff on the Individual setting because I have the upgraded MMI w/Nav. Without the Nav, in B8 models, you lost the Individual option, not sure if it's the same in B8.5, but I'm sure it is.
As for the carbon buildup, Audi of America (AoA) and Canada as well have sent out letters to owners stating they are extending the warranty of the engine to cover the labor/parts to clean up carbon deposits if the should happen on the car. I think it's like 12 years and 120000 miles or something like that. Fuel additives won't do much to solve the issue because the consensus is that since the engine is direct injected, the fuel and cleaning agent don't get sprayed past the intake valves as part of the suck phase of the combustion process, so they won't help clean that are at all. Others believe it helps a bit... it's all conjecture at the moment. The community understanding is that if you don't baby the car and idle it all the time too much, the carbon buildup should be minimal, but this hasn't ever been proven. People just think that if they wind it out to redline a few times as part of the driving process, it'll help keep the valves clean.

Wait... wait... wait...
You're considering an S4 purchase at over US $100,000.00 ?
You can buy the thing for 50-60k elsewhere and ship the thing for a few 1000 easily!

True but their are import/export restrictions and taxes on import/exports too. I'm sure if it could be easily purchased and shipped for half the price, no one would buy from Audi Spain... Right?
